The ecotourism
programme is the first of its kind in Cambodia and you have
an opportunity to participate in this pioneering programme
by taking part in one of its tours.
Tour group sizes and frequency of trips are limited to ensure
visitors enjoy their ecotourism experience and to minimise
impacts to the Park and the communities. You will be pleased
to know that your money will be used to contribute to the
management and conservation of the Park and to improving the
livelihoods of the local
people.
The programme is currently developing supportive
infrastructure, facilities and management systems, so please
check this site regularly for the latest updates! Comprehansive
information on trekking in Virachey National park is provided
in a brochure which
can be downloaded as pdf file.
All our tours include an ecotourism
ranger guide and a community
volunteer guide who are skilled in forest trekking and
who will enrich your visit with Khmer and local indigenous
knowledge of the cultural and environmental aspects of the
park.
We welcome all those with a sense of adventure
and a desire to participate in the development of this new
ecotourism programme that aims to support the conservation
of Virachey National Park and the livelihood improvement of
local communities living around the park.

you ready for an adventure?
